What students and alumni say about placements, academics and campus life
No independently traceable student reviews are available on this page yet. Ratings and quotations are shown only when a source can be provided.
IIM Visakhapatnam's third-party review density is limited. The school is on its 10th batch (founded 2015) but the alumni base is materially smaller than older IIMs, and verified review platforms (Shiksha, Quora, Google) have only a handful of public reviews.
The single verified PGPM 2025-27 student review available rates the following dimensions:
| Dimension | Rating Summary |
|---|---|
| Academics | Positive (good teaching, updated curriculum, workshops) |
| Infrastructure | Positive (projectors, A/C, clean living spaces) |
| Placements | Decent with an average salary of 16 LPA aligning with the official NIRF disclosure |
| Value for money | In line with peer IIMs |
Prospective applicants should treat this review as one data point and complement it with direct outreach to current students through alumni LinkedIn networks. The NIRF 2026 placement disclosure (365 of 375 placed, median Rs 15 LPA) is currently the most reliable structural signal.
