Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage

Stage 1 — Application + exam
Apply with a valid score on any of CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, GATE or IIT JAM. Minimum 60% in Class X, Class XII and UG required.

Stage 2 — Shortlisting
Shortlisting by academic record, exam score and work experience. Work experience is not mandatory; 12+ months earns credit.

Stage 3 — Personal Interview
Personal interview for shortlisted candidates. Selection weights on exam score, academics, work experience and PI.

Top-20 pathway
Top-20 rankers from NIRF-recognised undergraduate programmes can apply without a qualifying exam score.
