• A crisp, non-generic post-MBA goal with a specific sector and role (not "I want to be a business leader")
• Command over one current affairs domain, whether fintech, climate policy, or geopolitics, where you can defend a point of view
• Academic depth in your graduation subject, because IIM A panelists will test it

The CAT score and academics are fixed. Do not waste energy second-guessing them.

Stage 2 interview prep is the only lever. Mock PI sessions with brutal feedback matter more than one more case practice.

Record yourself answering "tell me about yourself" and "why IIM A over others" until the answer is natural, not rehearsed-sounding.
