Bachelor's degree: 50% aggregate in any discipline
NMAT year accepted: 2025
Work experience: Not mandatory. Counted in final composite. Must be post-graduation, formally salaried, with GSTIN+TAN-listed employer. Family business or cash salary does not qualify.
Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage

Stage 1 — NMAT by GMAC
Mandatory NMAT exam (November-December 2025 window). NMIMS accepts only the first attempt score for the same admission cycle. Application window 1 August - 10 October 2025.

Stage 2 — Shortlist for Competency Test + PI
Shortlist using NMAT sectional and total cutoffs. Past academics and work experience feed into the composite shortlist score.

Stage 3 — In-person Competency Test + Personal Interview
In-person Competency Test plus Personal Interview by NMIMS faculty and external experts. Held across NMIMS campuses including Bengaluru.
04
Stage 4 — Final merit and seat allotment
Final merit list is per-campus and per-program. Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Navi Mumbai each publish independent merit lists. Seat allotment based on candidate preference and cohort fit.
