IIM Nagpur runs a 2-year residential MBA programme (PGP). Admission is via CAT 2025 only (no XAT/GMAT). The 3-stage process: CAT-cutoff screening, profile-based shortlisting score (SS), Personal Interview with Extempore. The Final Score weights CAT at 45%, PI at 25%, Past Academic Performance at 6%, Work Experience at 9%, Academic Diversity at 5%, and Gender Diversity at 10%.

Education: Bachelor's degree (any discipline) with valid CAT 2025 score (positive score in all sections).
Work Exp: No minimum or maximum. WE score peaks at 18–24 months (10/10).

Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage

Stage 1: CAT cutoff screening

CAT 2025 score checked against sectional + overall cutoffs (General: 95 overall + 70 sectional). Candidates above cutoff get an email invitation to fill the IIM Nagpur application form. Positive (>0) score required in all sections.

Stage 2: Shortlisting Score

For candidates who clear Stage 1 and submit the IIM Nagpur application by the deadline, a Shortlisting Score is computed from CAT + 10th + 12th + UG marks + work experience + gender diversity. SS-ranked candidates are invited to Personal Interview.

Stage 3: Personal Interview

PI conducted at 1 of 5 venues (Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, IIM Nagpur campus) with a brief Extempore round. Topic provided on the spot with limited prep time and speaking duration. PI score contributes 25% to Final Score.

Stage 4: Final Score & Offers

Final Score = 45% CAT + 25% PI + 6% Past Academic Performance + 9% Work Experience + 5% Academic Diversity + 10% Gender Diversity. Category-wise merit lists generated separately. Provisional offers sent by email; 1L acceptance fee confirms admission.
