XLRI BM programme (either campus) averages Rs 28 LPA with top recruiters including McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture Strategy, HUL, P&G, ITC, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank.

If given a choice, most students pick Jamshedpur for the traditional XL experience and stronger alumni ties. However, Delhi campus students do not lose meaningful placement opportunities because the 3-5 firms that restrict to JSR are not the biggest recruiters. XL beats MDI on consulting and finance placements but loses slightly on Delhi-NCR specific FMCG roles (where MDI has an edge due to proximity to HUL, ITC, Nestle HQ).
Choose XL over MDI if brand and peer network matter; choose MDI over XL if Delhi location or lower fees (XL Rs 30.6L vs MDI Rs 28.2L) matter.
