Publishing minimum eligibility is a legal formality; the actual cutoff depends on overall applications and candidates shortlisted for each IIM. Every JAP IIM has internal composite score formulas that vary slightly, with some weighting gender diversity more (Ranchi) and others favoring academic consistency. The 90 overall minimum is a filter; the 94-96 range is where realistic conversions happen for General. For ST and SC candidates, 50+ overall is sufficient to secure JAP shortlist.
