How many IITians and CAs typically make up an ISB PGP batch?

Why IITians and CAs Stand Out

Both profiles carry credentials that ISB's admissions committee values heavily: quantitative rigor, demonstrated academic excellence under national-level competitive pressure, and structured problem-solving instincts. An IITian who cleared JEE Advanced and a CA who cleared all three ICAI exam levels in first attempts have both survived selection processes that filter harshly.

Which IIT Campuses and Branches Are Represented

If you are an IITian or CA applying to ISB, your credential opens the door but does not guarantee admission.

ISB's median GMAT sits around 710, and both IITians and CAs who clear that bar still need to demonstrate leadership impact and career progression, not just academic pedigree. The admissions committee has seen hundreds of "IIT + 5 years consulting" profiles.

Your essays need to show what you specifically built or changed, not where you worked.

If you are neither an IITian nor a CA, do not be discouraged. The remaining 85%+ of a batch comes from diverse engineering colleges, medical backgrounds, armed forces, government services, and the arts.

ISB does not penalize non-pedigree profiles when the GMAT score, work experience quality, and interview performance are strong.
