IIM Ahmedabad uses a composite score including CAT score (weighted), academics (10th, 12th, graduation), work experience, and diversity (gender, non-engineering background). A 99 percentile general category male engineer with 60 percent in graduation competes against a 97 percentile female non-engineer with 90 percent academics — the latter may receive more calls despite the lower score.
